Hello! I'm an author and award-winning illustrator living on Wadawurrung Country in the coastal town of Torquay Victoria with my husband, two children and Border Collie, Maggie.

After years of working as a graphic designer and primary school teacher, my love of books and visual storytelling won over and I spend most of my time drawing, writing and wandering around the house in a ‘thinking fog’.

​

I work in both traditional and digital media and illustrate characters and scenes from a range of perspectives. I love playing with composition, light and colour to bring a cinematic look to my work.

​

If I'm not illustrating delightful worlds for children to enjoy, you’ll find me along the wild and wooly cliffs of Jan Juc or sitting by a fire knitting and dreaming about living in a lighthouse.
